Design is hard…
But the results are so rewarding! We treat every project as a prototype, with it’s own set of challenges, spatial constraints and logistical puzzles to be solved. In every project we take on, we find inventive ways to organize the process, and push the limit of what is possible with the result. This is what we love about being part of the design industry, which straddles so many different disciplines. We have experience on projects of all types and sizes, from multi-block urban designs to prototype furniture, and everything in between. That experience gives us the agency to spread good design further into every aspect of our world.
Sometimes that means working on projects designed by others that need a boost. We know that not all project teams out there work the same way. Frustration, inefficiency and gridlock often enter the design process when a project isn’t conceptualized or managed properly. This can take the momentum out of a project, and leave a client or team with a bad impression of the design industry as a whole. That’s not good for anyone. We want to help fix that.
Below are some of the specific services we offer to clients to help them realize their own design projects, and how we creatively help them reach the finish line with results we are all proud of.
Design Advisor
We work on both sides of the table—as designer and fabricator—to provide a comprehensive understanding of the needs of a project, from concept to completion. We can work as an added member of a design team to help address bottlenecks anywhere in the process.
Peer Review
We provide another set of eyes on a design to make sure all aspects are ready to build. From material review and technical guidance, to schedule and budget review and logistical planning, we can help complete the vision. The goal is to make sure your project is ready to build, before making the tremendous expense of building it.
Owner’s Representative
Especially on architecture projects, it is often useful to have someone looking out for the owner’s interests, separate from the designer of record or the contractor/fabricator building it. We act as an independent third party to help optimize the design process for all involved, and get to the finished product with minimal headaches.
